Things do happen

You invest time and money in a career, spending most of the time studying and using most of your parent’s money and at the end you just couldn’t make it, until you’re chased out of the institution.
Maybe you had the capacity to make it, you pass your grade 12 with flying colours and at the end you don’t have money to go further your studies, yes you applied for bursaries and organisation so that the can finance you but you never get a respond until you gave up on education.
Maybe you’re a good person and you got yourself a partner, you loved like crazy and you tried your best to do it right and just discovered that your partner is cheating.
Maybe you grow up in church, attending conferences and it was either you’re on your way to church, in church or from church but things are not working out for you.
Maybe something happened that took away your dignity, nobody respects you and you feel like the whole world know what happened.
Maybe your sitting down or you don’t sleep at night asking yourself thee question “WHY ME?”
I don’t know why things happen to people but I just want to quote verses that I think can help some of us.
-          Many are the plans in a man’s heart but it is God purpose that will prevail.
-          God says my plan for you is to prosper you.
-          Everything works together for good to those who loves the Lord.
-          The just shall live by faith.
In conclusion let me say always hope for good, when life turns you off don stay in the dark, turn yourself on. Dust yourself off, put a new fresh attitude and try again.

A hater by Maya Angelou

A hater is someone who is jealous and envious and spends all their
time trying to make you look small so they can look tall.
They are very negative people to say the least.  Nothing is ever
good enough!

When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters...

That's why you have to be careful with whom you share your
blessings and your dreams, because some folk can't handle seeing
you blessed...

It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be
like somebody else, He would have given you what He gave them!  Right?

You never know what people have gone through to get what they

The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they
don't know my story...

If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you
can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too!

We've all got some haters among us!

Some people envy you because you can:
     a) Have a relationship with God
     b) Light up a room when you walk in
     c) Start your own business
     d) Tell a man/woman to hit the curb (if he/she isn't about the right thing)
     e) Raise your children without both parents being in the home

Haters can't stand to see you happy.
Haters will never want to see you succeed.
Most of our haters are people who are supposed to be on our side.

How do you handle your undercover haters?
You can handle these haters by:

           1. Knowing who you are & who your true friends are
*(VERY IMPORTANT!!) A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be.
Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you.
           3. By remembering what you have is by divine
                   prerogative and not human manipulation.
Fulfill your dreams!  You only have one life to live...when its your
time to leave this earth, you want to be able to say, 'I've lived my
life and fulfilled my dreams, Now I'm ready to go HOME!
When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters, 'Don't look at
me...Look at who is in charge of me...'
Pass this to your family & friends who you know are
not hating.
If you don't get it back, maybe you called somebody out!
Don't worry about it, it's not your problem, it's theirs.
Just pray for them, that their life can be as fulfilled as
yours! Watch out for Haters...BUT most of all don't become
                     Maya Angelou
"Love your enemies for they are your mirror to reality..."

           2. Having a purpose to your life: Purpose does not
mean having a job. You can have a job and still be
Isn't this just lovely? I am mormally not a fan of any written pieces dedicated to haters, but this, I LOVE! Maya Angelou is just brilliant!

I found myself smiling

Here's the video for Kirk Franklin's latest single, "I Smile" from his latest album, Hello Fear. I love the concept of this inspirational video which features cameos from several very popular entertainers and musicians. I found myself smiling as I watched. This is a perfect song for anyone that is feeling a bit down.

Sometimes life has a way of throwing us in 'how did I get here' land but even though we have no idea what to do, we have to keep smiling. We choose to smile not because we are hiding our hurts or pretending that they are not there but because...

We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8.28)

The righteous have never been forsaken" (Psalm 37:25),
God says his plans for our lives is to prosper us

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord … ”( Psalm 37:23)

God is never late, but He is never early.” This means that God will come in with the breakthrough on His time schedule – not ours! And he makes everything beautiful in it's time (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

It is not a cliche, God would never put you in a situation he knows you would not handle, trust in his love, don't give up- God shows the revelation to those that stick around long enough!

Let It Go

I am not sure how long this poem has been in my life for or where I read it for the first time, but every time I read it is just when I need to. It's just when something is happening in my life...when I am feeling unsure about the people in my life or the relationships and space I share with them.It just pops up in my head! And when I read it, I know exactly what I need to do. I used to hold on to people in the fear of losing them. I used to do all I could with all my might just to have them in my life, but as I get older, I realise that when people want to be in your life, you don't have to fight to keep them there....they will just be there...because they want to be. Now I believe in the art of letting go!
Sometimes God only brings people in our lives for a certain period then afterwards they have to go, recently I had to let of a friendship which I really did not want to let go of but I had to realize that this person was only in my life for a certain period now it was time for her to leave.Letting go is one of the hardest lessons in life. It's easy to form an attachment to people and things. When you've formed an attachment to people and things, it can be a very painful experience and feeling when you realise that it's time to let go. Even the mere thought of not having that person or thing in your life just squeezes your heart in pain. But as hard as it is, it has to be done!
The poem that taught me about the art of letting go is by T.D Jakes. It's called Let It Go

There are people who can walk away from you.
And hear me when I tell you this!
When people can walk away from you: let them walk.
I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you.
I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The Bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.

Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person, it just means that their part in the story is over and you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over.
Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye.
It's the tenth spiritual gift - I believe in good-bye.
It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me.
And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it.

Stop begging people to stay.

Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to......

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains .....

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth.....

If someone has angered you ........

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge......

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction.....

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents

If you have a bad attitude.......

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him......

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship.......

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves.....

If you're feeling depressed and stressed .........

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to......

Let the past be the past. Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new thing!

Get Right or Get Left .. think about it, and then.

So I confess...

So I confess, I haven't spent much time with the Lord, and I am excited to get back into The Word regularly! I don't want my relationship with my Savior to suffer because of lack of communication, or because I "don't have enough time." I have time...I just need to manage it better. I want my life to be completely for Him, and that in everything I would do, it would glorify Him. It's my prayer that I would become more like my Savior, every day, moment by moment. And that I would be a witness for Him but that cannot happen if I don’t put the Lord first in my life. I don't want to go through my days putting God in a box -Lord, help me not to get so wrapped up in my own world that I forget who created it. So often, I put my desires above the real deal. "Lord, I will read my bible — I truly am planning to spend some time praying, but I'm really busy with this thing now. I'll do it as soon as I finish!" I procrastinate and put off the important, only to find out that the day is done.

I believe that I have to delight myself in the Lord because that is where the good life is. It is a conscience free life; nothing feels as good as approaching God with a clear conscience. A guilty conscience is actually one of the things that used to keep me from praying. I would so feel guilty for not praying then avoid talking to God because I thought he was not pleased with me or maybe tired of my excuses, I felt so condemned.

One good thing that came out of this whole thing is that even though I haven’t been spending that much in the word I was able to get by much better than I would have in the past. My heart was still fully-fledged in Christ and I never gave up on my confession of faith. I am so glad because this is an indication of growth, I have truly grown spiritually, I decided that I was not going to beat myself over this because that is exactly what the devil wants. He wants me to feel so guilty and put off talking to God; well… it could have worked a couple of years ago but not anymore. I am STILL convicted to live in joy - Jesus FIRST, others SECOND, myself LAST. I am convicted to spend time praying or being in the Word every morning, as well as living my days Holy for Christ. I am convicted to live COMPLETLY for my Savior, fully surrendered! There is no one but Jesus for me.  I love seeing these little changes that result in me turning into a woman after God's own heart! This is my journey and in it I am still yet to make mistakes but the secret is to repent, learn from the mistakes and move on. Too much is at stake for me to dwell on what I have done wrong. I know that God loves me whole-heartedly and there is nothing that I can do to make him think less of me. I know that he understands because he knows my heart, he knows that I long to be a powerful women of prayer. I'm convicted and encouraged, because I see what areas of my life I need to focus on. I know I can't do it on my own but when I am weak then I am strong, because he is perfect strength.  I will get there, baby steps…
