  1. OK Cindy, now I know and will say them no more. HILARIOUS video. Sometimes one does not even know what to say as not to cause pain or hurt.

  2. LOL!! I know, you are right. Most of the time people don't know what to say so they say the 'Christian thing to say'

  3. LOL. "Jesus can be your boyfriend?" "There’s no marriage in heaven?" Duh! But, I do want to get married on Earth! :) "It happens where you’re not looking." I’m looking, because my eyes are always open. Hahaha. "Pray harder." How hard though? LOL. This is super funny and silly.

I've had people ask me if I'm in a relationship, and when I answer "no", they think I'm lying. People have also said to me that, men might be scared to approach me for a serious relationship, because I like dressing up. In other words, I intimidate men. LOL. Ridiculous things people say!

  9. I agree with Eya, people do not know what to say, or how to say it. I think it's better to allow the single person take the lead on what direction he or she would like the conversation to go and take your cue from there. There's a saying in my place that, you advise the hawk, as well as the chicken. In application, married people should learn how to season their words with salt and not be insensitive when addressing the singles; on the flip side, singles should also not personalize every innocuous comment and be overtly sensitive. Like I always say, whether one is married or not, it is not a ticket to heaven, but let us all aim to please God whether married, or single-He sure knows how to 'settle us.' Much as we may sometimes over spiritualise things, not everyone wants to marry and not everyone will be married, and people's choices should be respected-nobody should be made to feel guilty or incomplete for being single. And for the singles that do want to be married, nobody should pressurize them, because when marriage happens, it's meant to be for life. So, let the pressures to be married push anyone into something they are not ready for. My personal take on it.

Love your blog. I'm a first time visitor. Well done.
